On 31st May, Managing Director Jimmy Durrance took his place alongside Chris Thomas and Mike Harvey of J Durrance & Co at the Edinburgh Marathon to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, one of four official charities at this year’s Albert Bartlett Edinburgh Marathon.
“Team J Durrance” successfully completed the 26.2 miles course through the streets of historic Edinburgh, raising a total of £2,000 for the charity.
Says MD Jimmy Durrance “We wanted to make a difference. One in three of us will get cancer and two million of us are already living with it. Macmillan Cancer Support directly improves the lives of people affected by cancer working alongside those involved to provide practical, medical and financial support and in the push to improve cancer care. Running in the marathon was both a tough challenge and a great experience. We are immensely grateful for everyone's help and support in raising money for this worthwhile cause”.
