J DURRANCE & CO, MARKET LEADING physical security solutions provider, has created an Auto-Doors Division, specialising in automatic and semi-automatic doors.
The advent of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 has increased the requirement for automatic doors to improve accessibility, especially in retail and public buildings.
The company has previously offered the service and maintenance of automatic and semi-automatic doors, as part of their overall service offering, as well as installation of automatic doors as part of their aluminium doors and shop fronts.
The new Auto-Doors Division aims to develop a broader product range and enhanced customer service specifically geared around the design, installation, service and maintenance of automatic and semi-automatic doors.
The new division is being head up by Anthony Parrish, who recently joined J Durrance after 4 years as Head of Auto Doors Division at Doorman. Anthony has 12 years experience in the auto doors industry.
Anthony Parrish commented, “The development of the new Auto-Doors Division further enhances the commitment of J Durrance to providing greater service to customers. From design and installation of a new set of automatic or semi-automatic doors, to customer specification, to implementing service and maintenance contracts, we are now in a strong position to ensure customers remain compliant to the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.”
Jimmy Durrance, Managing Director at J Durrance & Co, said, “We are delighted that Anthony has joined us at an exciting time for the business. Our continued growth and expansion has created this great opportunity with a specialist auto doors division that compliments our range of physical security solutions.”
