OUR ANTI-BANDIT SECURITY SCREENS are designed to meet the current requirements for open transaction counters whilst providing protection for staff against violence. They also provide a higher level of security for external and internal high-risk areas.
Banks, building societies and forecourt shops are among the major users of this specialist security product. Designed to integrate with applications such as late night window cash counters, cash transfer trays and bullet resistant screening uints, each screen is individually tailored to customers own specific requirements.
In addition to conventional glazing, J Durrance now provide the option of polycarbonate. This offers superb abrasion resistance, a reduction in weight by approximately 50% with an impact resistance 200 times that of standard glass. It also offers fire resistance up to Class 1 surface spread of flame.
SPECIFICATION
Our standard product is constructed from 'Comar' aluminium framework, 9.5mm clear anti-bandit glass or scratch resistant polycarbonate (depending on your requirements) with class "A" anti-shard on teller side.
We work closely with each customer to design and construct a completely bespoke product. Glazing protection levels can be for either physical attack, bullet resistant or fire retardant.
Optional polyester powder coat finish available from standard stocked RAL or BS colours.
